RUGS

Hand-tufted rugs. My favourite fuzzy form of story-telling. I began tufting in 2021 and it very quickly secured a spot in my regular art practice. Everything about the process I love, and it has changed the way I create. I have become more observant, keeping an ear out for funny sayings or quirks to add to the ever-growing list in my phone. I turn these phrases into abstract illustrations, which are then projected onto cloth to be rugged-up.
